It’s officially the holiday season, and American designer Gabriela Hearst is giving you yet another reason to invest in your closet while finding gifts for your loved ones. In an effort to shine a light on the current climate in Afghanistan, Hearst and her team have set out to do their part.
Now through Christmas Day, the brand will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from every purchase made online and at its flagship stores in New York and London to Save the Children’s Afghanistan Crisis Children’s Relief Fund. Translation: Fans of the label will be able to buy their favorite pieces across categories and all for a good cause.
“The children of Afghanistan are in our thoughts and actions this holiday season. Just because we are far doesn’t mean the pain is not close,” the designer said on her eponymous label’s latest venture. “Hopefully other generous spirits can bring more attention and healing to their life-and-death situation.”

The highly coveted Nina and Demi handbags are among the styles on offer (both of which normally have massive wait lists) and are available for purchase with the entire net proceeds going to help children living in poverty, experiencing hunger, engaging in forced labor, and facing other challenges of growing up in an area of conflict.
