When jewelry designer Le Vian first introduced its Chocolate Diamonds to the market in 2000, everyone was vying to get their hands on them. Back when malls were at their peak and your next big purchase was on the other side of a glass counter, rather than a computer screen, the rich-colored stones were all the rage. Now more than two decades later, CEO Eddie LeVian is calling them the obsession of 2022. In the spirit of the line’s renewed interest, the brand has partnered with Belgian chocolatier Godiva on a decadent collaboration—and with Cupid’s holiday on the horizon, the timing couldn’t be better.
“The Godiva x Le Vian collaboration is our first creative interpretation of the power, pleasure, and wonder of chocolate,” LeVian explained. “This collection of delectable Chocolate Diamond jewels, inspired by Godiva’s exquisite premium chocolates, was made with love to be savored by valentines this year.”
Available exclusively at Kay Jewelers, each piece in the lineup is designed with a different signature treat in mind. There are three pendant styles on offer: one modeled and named after the classic dark chocolate ganache heart, another for the strawberry créme tarte truffle, and the last for the milk chocolate truffle. The respective styles are each set with a mix of white and Chocolate Diamonds, as well as Passion Rubies, to emulate the desserts’ details.
