Pat McGrath Labs products were exclusively used on the show’s cast (which included up to 150 actors a day) while filming its latest season, and they were applied by BAFTA Award-winning hair and makeup designer Erika Ökvist. “My first love affair with Pat McGrath Labs products started when I saw the range of foundations—they’re fluid and invisible,” Ökvist says. “I can honestly say the products set beautifully on everybody’s skin, and there was a color and shade to fit every character, scene, and moment on set. As for the line’s inspiration, Lady Whistledown herself, Coughlan says Pat McGrath Labs’ ethos aligns perfectly with her beauty interests and counts the SatinAllure Lipstick shade Négligée as her new perfect nude. “I’m a makeup girl, so it was like a dream going to Pat’s studio,” she says. “The Belle of the Ball palette is so gorgeous.
