Last night, Altuzarra held the length of his fall 2022 show operating in New York City’s historic Woolworth Building. ”This season Being inspired by the ocean, seafarers, and the myths and secrets and techniques of the underwater world, ” Altuzarra says. “I wished-for the collection to not only prompt the intrepid and overbold spirit of sailors and furthermore world travelers, but also any mystery and darkness from ocean’s depths, populated on mermaids and mythological insects. ”
He drove the point residence by including a copy of a Moby Dick at every spot, complete with dog-eared pages, textiles from the collection, and images involved with seashells. Such a straightforward creativity might fall into costume and even trope elsewhere, but Altuzarra’s sailors, world travelers, and moreover mermaids brought a legendary magic, and some very, good coats.
